CSE Servelec
CSE Servelec is a leading global systems integrator with over 27 years of experience in providing innovative and cost-effective turnkey solutions to the Utilities, Oil and Gas, Health and Social Care, Security and Manufacturing industries.
Having supplied Healthcare systems since 1994 and in response to a strong demand for Health and Social Care solutions from the Public Sector, CSE Servelec developed RiO in 2001, a range of Care Record software products for the Mental Health and Community sectors. These intuitive and easy-to-use solutions are totally web-based, and can be tailored to suit the individual needs of each organisation. RiO enables staff to update records on-line and in real-time, helping Public Sector organisations to provide a first class service to their clients.
Central to RiO, is CSE Servelec's aim of promoting client care, staff efficiency and better records management in organisations they work with. To enable its customers to achieve this goal, CSE Servelec approached an addressing software supplier with a view to integrating an address management solution into its RiO system.
Alistair Eaton, Senior Project Manager at CSE Servelec, explains, "Large organisations such as the NHS generate phenomenal amounts of information. The sensitive and often personal nature of this information means that mistakes can have far-reaching and highly visible consequences. We identified that it was essential for us to include as part of our solution, a quick and accurate method of managing address and contact information. We evaluated numerous products from various suppliers but chose Capscan because we felt that they offered a high quality product at a competitive price, and were impressed by the quality of their service."
Alistair Eaton further adds, "By integrating Matchcode API into our Care Record solutions, we are able to offer comprehensive address management functionality to our customers, including healthcare datasets, at a competitive price. Matchcode ensures that only accurate and verified addresses are entered into a patient record system. This allows NHS Trusts to accurately report and produce statistics by geographical area and also to maintain effective communications with their patients. Not only was Matchcode able to meet all of our requirements, integrating the product into our software was a quick and simple process, taking just one week".
Since integrating Capscan's Matchcode API into the RiO product range, Capscan and CSE Servelec have developed a successful commercial relationship that has benefited both organisations, due in no small part to their shared goals and a commitment to quality. Alistair Eaton added, "Working with Capscan has allowed us to satisfy demand and exceed the expectations of our customers. I would have no hesitation in recommending Capscan software to other organisations. With the help of Capscan's Matchcode, we can help our customers save time and improve the quality of their data, which is imperative for our clients. Their professional and knowledgeable approach has helped us provide a more powerful product to our customers. We are very happy with the partnership and intend to maintain Capscan' status as the preferred supplier for address management."
Since integrating Matchcode into RiO in 2001, the RiO system has been adopted by over 6,000 users, and now manages the demographic and clinical records of over 1 million patients. Customers of the integrated RiO products include:
- Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland Mental Health NHS Trust
- 4 Primary Care Trusts in Sheffield
- Somerset Partnership NHS & Social Care Trust
- 5 Primary Care Trusts in Leeds
- East Elmbridge & Mid Surrey Primary Care Trust
- Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland
Matthew Lee, Capscan Partner Executive, agrees that Capscan and CSE Servelec have formed a strong partnership. He adds, "By integrating Capscan's Matchcode API into the RiO product range, CSE Servelec will continue to dominate the Health and Social Care market. We are delighted to be working with CSE Servelec and look forward to enjoying more future successes together."
