Guestline

Established in 1993, Guestline is a leading supplier of Windows based reservations software for the hospitality industry, offering a complete suite of solutions for independent hotels and venues, groups and large corporate chains.

In 2003, Guestline decided to integrate Capscan's rapid addressing solution, Zapcode, into their reservation systems - this in response to demand from the hotel and hospitality industries for better and more comprehensive contact and address data management functionality within reservation systems. Zapcode is a market leading postcoding and rapid addressing solution. Guestline chose Zapcode because they felt that it provided the functionality and quality they needed. Zapcode ensures databases are populated with only accurate and up-to-date address data. With Zapcode integrated into their solutions, Guestline believed that they would have a technological edge over rivals, one, which would allow them to be successful in a hugely competitive hotel reservations software market.

Guestline integrated Capscan's Zapcode API into its Property Management System (PMS) and RezLynx Internet Native Hotel Enterprise Solutions. PMS is a software solution designed to meet hotelier demands for a comprehensive hotel management tool. It provides streamlined operations and maximised revenue in independent hotels and multi-site corporate group operations, resulting in increased occupancy and more effective sales and marketing. RezLynx is a hosted CRM solution incorporating PMS, along with central reservations and Head Office management functionality, which is ideally suited for hotel groups seeking a single central database for their entire estate.
