Capscan Launches Matchcode For Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM
Capscan, a leading supplier of international address management solutions and data integrity services, today announced the availability of Matchcode for Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM. The software enables sales and marketing teams to improve forward planning of campaigns, customer analysis and achieve a comprehensive view of the customer base, through the accurate capture and validation of UK contact data within the market leading CRM platform.
Using Matchcode for Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM speeds up the sales cycle, reduces costs associated with incorrect contact data and compliments an organisation’s data quality management (DQM) strategy, by ensuring the customer database contains only high quality contact data, validated against the Royal Mail’s Postcode Address File (PAF). Matchcode for Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM also improves customer communication and brand image through correctly addressed and delivered items. A single customer view can also be achieved, by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data formatting stored across the whole organisation.

The Matchcode for Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM plug-in takes the form of an IFRAME and presents a new button on forms requiring address information, named ‘Address Lookup’ (this can be customised by the user so that the button only appears on selected forms). Once the user has entered address data into the form, the button can be used to cross reference the entered information with PAF. If the search results in a single address, the appropriate form fields are automatically populated with a complete and correct address. If more than one possible address match is found (e.g. when a postcode is entered) a selection list is presented, from which the user can select the correct address. In addition to PAF, Matchcode for Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM can also support other useful datasets such as D&B business data, Experian National Canvasse names data, Local Authority data and Geocodes.
