Up To 58% Of Large IRIS Legal Office Users Now Benefit From Capscan’s Data Quality Technology

Capscan, a leading supplier of international address management solutions and data integrity services, today announced that it is a leading sponsor of and exhibitor at the IRIS Legal Office User Group Conference, taking place 9th - 10th June in Meriden, Warwickshire. Capscan and IRIS Legal Solutions have enjoyed a four-year strategic partnership, delivering data quality functionality within IRIS’ legal software products to hundreds of companies in the legal profession.

Since 2004, Capscan has experienced year-on-year growth of IRIS Legal Office and Law Enterprise customers using its address data validation and cleansing technology, Matchcode Data Capture and Bureau Services. Currently, 15% of the IRIS Legal Office and Law Enterprise customer base and 58% of their larger customers (over 100 users) have taken advantage of Capscan’s fully integrated Matchcode Data Capture software or Bureau services.

At the User Group Conference, Capscan will be joining over 90 IRIS Legal Solutions customers that are benefiting from Matchcode Data Capture and Bureau service to achieve accurate, valid and suppressed address data. Capscan will demonstrate how its technology processes either an entered postcode or partial address (where the postcode is unknown) against the Royal Mail Postcode Address File (PAF) to return the correct address, with the minimum number of keystrokes. As a result, IRIS Legal Solutions customers ensure that they are maintaining a clean, high quality database, an efficient service and important legal documents reach the right address.

Sales Director at IRIS Legal Solutions, Chris Rose, believes data quality is critical to its customers to enable them to run their firms effectively and to a high standard. “Accurate and up-to-date information, especially address data, is highly important to the legal profession. Integrating Capscan’s data quality technology into IRIS Legal Office and Law Enterprise and providing our customers with access to the Bureau Services adds real value to the software. Not only does it significantly reduce the administration time in managing contact databases, which previously many of our customers would do manually, but it can also improve the effectiveness and response rate of marketing campaigns.”

Matchcode Data Capture ensures that only accurate, complete and up-to-date address data is added to the software’s database. Address data entered by a user (only a postcode or partial address is needed) is automatically screened against the Royal Mail’s Postcode Address File (PAF) to return a full, valid address.
