Our addressing solutions play a vital part in ensuring critical services like Fire and Ambulance reach people as quickly as possible. Solutions like our best-selling software, Matchcode Data Capture, allow Emergency services operators to type in an element of the address - such as the postcode, or street and house number and then locate that address and present it in a moment, complete with integrated Ordnance Survey (OS) grid references.

This means an operator taking an emergency call can still quickly and accurately access all the vital information required, even when supplied with only a partial address. If there is more than one possible match, the software will present all options for the operator to narrow down the address. Accurate addressing also promotes effective strategic service planning.

What’s more, when the address is linked to a grid-reference point the exact location can be shown visually on a map of a Geographic Information System, (GIS) helping Emergency services to locate a desired destination with pinpoint accuracy.
